These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of kidlitpop.com and its related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. About KidLit Pop

KidLit Pop helps parents, teachers, and caregivers find children's books, and helps authors reach the right readers.

2. Accounts

KidLit Pop is made for parents, teachers, caregivers, and authors, and children shouldn't create accounts. When you create an account, give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

Use the Service only for lawful purposes. Don't interfere with how it runs, try to reach parts of it without permission, or use it to share harmful or infringing content.

4. Book recommendations

Recommendations, reviews, and ratings on the Service are suggestions. They aren't medical, psychological, or educational advice. Some books cover sensitive topics, so please preview a book before sharing it with a child.

5. Author content

Authors may apply for author access, which we approve at our discretion. When you submit a profile, a book, or other materials, you confirm that:

• you own the rights to the materials or have permission to share them;
• the information you provide is accurate and approved for publication; and
• any book you claim is your own or one you're authorized to represent.

You give KidLit Pop non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display, format, edit, and share your submitted materials on the Service and KidLit Pop's channels in order to review and feature your book. We review books independently, and submitting a book doesn't guarantee a particular rating, placement, or timeline. We may edit or remove listings at our discretion. If you delete your account, books already published stay listed with your name as the author unless you ask us to remove them.

6. Intellectual property

The Service's logos, design, and original content belong to KidLit Pop or its licensors. Book covers, author profiles, and related materials belong to their authors and publishers and are used with the permission described in Section 5.

7. Reporting content

If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email kidlitpop@gmail.com with a link to the content and an explanation. We'll review it and remove content where appropriate.

8. Third-party links and services

The Service links to stores and other websites we don't control. We don't earn money from store links, and we aren't responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KidLit Pop isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Responsibility for your content

You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs that arise from content you submit or from your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. For significant changes, we'll also tell account holders by email or with a notice on the Service. If you keep using the Service after changes are posted, you accept the updated Terms.
